As I try my best to learn something new every day,
through social media,
through talking with stranger,
through looking with other's perspective,
I learn something else in these past three weeks
during my intention to celebrate my four years
of blogging experience
by giving away some gifts
to my blog's visitors.
I found that many non-scrappers visited me
for the first time,
which is exactly what I hope for
by telling you to tell anyone
(or everyone)you know
about the giveaways.
It's always exciting to meet someone new!
Some new visitors are excellent artist herself
in her medium which I admired,
some can (hopefully) become a closer friend
and meet me soon at the classroom
(or coffee house? Sure!)
I'm afraid many new visitors
still look at the pretty papers
and new stuff I posted
and adore them,
but, that's all.
I haven't prepare some good explanation
on "What is scrapbook?"
and the famous question "Why do you scrapbook?"
Just as that questions hit my head,
I remember one particular video
made by a such talented scrapper, Shimelle,
which I saw long time ago,
then I search for it and very happy
to found it again.
She explained it in the best way.
even if you had seen this,
seeing it again will warm your heart
just like mine.
It's much much more beyond pretty papers
and new stuff every week.
It's your story of life.
Which only you can tell.
I also found out that she made
a new video about her new online class
couple days before,
just at the right moment to warm up
all the scrappers who getting ready
I watch this one
over and over again.
*thanks for this reminder, dear!*
Love her way of telling the thing,
love her voice,
of course, love what she is telling us,
even love the angle she put the recorder!
I want to hug her really really tight
for sharing this beautiful video.
You can say hello to her here.
And don't forget,
Say hello to everyday adventure
Say hello to week in the life
Say hello to your story
Say hello to learn something new
which will make you very very happy.
I'll be back this weekend!
You know what's for.
