Three 'Butterfly Garden' layouts
I felt in love with these papers,
the first time I saw it released at CHA 2011.
Love the colors,
love the images,
and of course love the butterflies.
(who are not?)
So, after used this line of papers at
Irene Tan's workshop to make the treasure box,
I made three 12x12 layouts
using all their 6 types of papers,
mixed them all here and there.
Here is LAYOUT 1 :
The details
Here is LAYOUT 2 :
The details
I can't put my distress crackle rock candy aside.
It's so tempting I used it at every page!
Gosh.
Look the cool crackle effect here
Hidden journaling is always best solution
for a 'busy' layout
And here is LAYOUT 3 :
The details
See? Distress crackle, again!
*chuckle
Intrigued by these small modules of papers
I cut some for mini card at layout 1,
the hidden journaling card for
layout 2, and use what's left for this layout.
I thought it will be perfect
for more pictures inside if I made it flip.
I know the main picture is not too sharp.
It's taken by my son, at the terrace,
and it's after dinner time.
But it's taken on mother's day,
when me and my mom could have some quiet moment
talking and laughing,
interrupted by my son coming with the camera.
So this blurry pic hold precious memory,
and I want to always remember it.
Love you, mom.
You can see that all the layout here
are using :
6 pcs 12x12 pattern papers
1 puffy honey Thickers (American Craft)
1 shimmer flourish (Making Memories)- brown
Distress crackle rock candy (clear)
Stickles - platinum
1 pack of butterfly charms
1 pack of butterfly clear pops
some brads
Not complicated at all.
Hope you like them.
See you soon!
