Week in The Life 2013 - day seven

All you have in the end
is to be able to look back
and like the choices you made.
-Matt Damon-

Sunday is here.
 Always about wanting to do
something,
anything,
everything,
or doing nothing.
*Okay, the last one is my wish*

And, this Sunday filled with...

peeking here...

more peeking here...

 concentrating...

watching...

nurturing...

sketching...

going...

gathering...

bonding...

movie watching...

grocery shopping...

dinner burger-ing...

and finally....resting.

That's it.
This is the last day of
'Week in The Life' 2013 project.
Kinda sad.
But yet excited to pull all the pictures,
print them tomorrow,
and can actually starting to scrap them.

My 2011 'Week in The Life' is here.

Thank you Ali,
Thanks to you all who
joining along this awesome project this year,
or to you who just following the stories
day by day here or on Facebook.
Don't forget to share the link
of your finished album, okay?

Let's do the album!

Week in The Life 2013 - day six

Forget about your life situation
for a while
and pay attention
to your life.
-Eckart Tolle-

Shower in the weekend always gentler
and not rushing into the next thing.
I even can appreciate my nail done
from the other day's pedicure.

Okay, how about one more time
nice nail picture?
*grin*

Done with the nail.
Down for breakfast.

While the kids still enjoying
their late wake up time for weekend,
me have to go to their school
for parenting seminar,
and Audy goes to client's meeting.

Can't follow the seminar till the end,
cause I have to go to the Borromeus hospital
to keep Audy company for
his dental 'suppose to be now' operation
for his gum infection.
Crazy weekend traffic is spend more
than two hours to the hospital.
*sigh*
And the operation have to be postponed
for some reasons.
*more sigh*

very late lunch at 3 pm...

I definitely need that ice cappuccino.

Drop these beauty made by my daughter
to Krang Kring. Always proud of how
she turns her hobby into something useful.

And below pictures were taken by
the little chef herself in the morning
while I was in the seminar.

Pay attention to her ombre nails.
*yes, she is thirteen*

Heavy rain on the way home.

Afternoon's scrap...
Am making progress with the Taiwan's album.

Could you believe the amount of
brochure, postcards, tags, maps,
stickers, name cards, and so many more junk
that I brought back from Taiwan
to put into my album?
*headache*

Afternoon's work...

Afternoon's snuggle...

May you all have a nice weekend
and a sweet dream...

Can you believe tomorrow is the last day
for this 'Week in The Life' project?
Me not.

See you on the last day.

Week in The Life 2013 - day five

If you want to protect your feet,
wear shoes.
And if you want to protect yourself,
from the world's provocations,
tame your mind.

Stay present.

-Pema Chodron-

I pick only two pictures to share today,
because I love how they both turn out
in the end.
They both display simple shadow and light.
Yet, they also display many untold stories.

I want to stay present tonight.
So instead of lots editing
and long posting here,
I want to be with my family,
enjoying our beautiful Friday night.

See you on day six.

Week in The Life 2013 - day four

Sometimes all it takes is
 a deep breath,
change the direction of thoughts,
listen to the heartbeat,
and let the good things come to you.
-@VladaMars-

Before I found above quote on twitter
sometimes around lunch,
tell you the truth,
I felt down with this WITL project.
Last night,
I thought about what album to use
for this year WITL, and came across
the preparation I did for the same project
back on 2011 here.
*sigh*
And I felt, gosh
How could I be so prepared
and enthusiastic before,
and not now?
I took fewer and fewer pictures.
What's wrong with me?

Took pictures for few hours in the morning,
with a troubled soul.
Pile of works at the office ease me,
but not until I found that quote
*with teary eyes
I took deep breath,
and let go.
Am not chasing it anymore.
I'll let the good things come.

And,
they indeed come.
Moment by moment.
And tonight I ended with lots of
good things come across my path today.
Thank you, Lord.

Thank you for this 8th grader
that ready to go on her school retreat
for one night...

Thank you for this 4th grader
that still insist on bringing
his blanket and plushie cat down
every morning for breakfast...

Thank you for a long talk with
my mom this morning on the phone,
and meet her for lunch.
Always treasure the time spent with her.

Thank you for many stuff
that keep me company on the road...

Thank you for (finally) luxurious hour of
free time after work to pamper myself.
Just what I need
after crazy schedule last week.

Thank you for today's coffee...

Thank you for early home arriving
because the kids' nanny is out,
so I have to take Adam to Kumon's lesson.
And while Adam is there, I'm back
to empty home, and have spare time
to add something to my current project.

Yes.
You are now seeing my next class's project
using G45 Steampunk Spells paper series.
Consider this is a really early sneak peek.
*chuckle*
*Hello, early bird scrappers
who wait patiently for my next class*
*blow kisses for you*

Thank you for a hungry boy coming home
and cannot wait patiently for his pempek.
Oh, let me cook them, mom.
Okay, kiddo.

Thank you for a chance to pick
my hubby up at the airport tonight.
And Adam had good time with my camera too.

And....
thank you for these surprises, hubby!!
*muaaah*

How can I not constantly
falling in love with him,
while he constantly showers me
with his love and care?

Thank you, Lord.
Thank you for a reminder
to take a deep breath today.

See you all on day five.
