A layout and a sneak peek.

Been waited for free time to scrap,
for almost two weeks
during the interior decoration's work,
gladly I found the time (and the energy!)
to make next class's project at MWL
and this 12x12 layout.

and instantly wanted to record
memories about Nadea's style.

Look how cute these oldies girls' figure

I am not usually a
'cropping-photo-around-the-figure'
kind of scrapper,
but I found this photo of my daughter
is very suitable for that kind of page,
matching with the girls' figure
that also been cropped earlier.

I altered the Thickers for the title here
long time ago using crackle paints,
(I forget which post, sorry)
and I found its color goes hand in hand
with the paper color tones.
Sweet!

After the main focus for the page all done,
I just went crazy with adding
the embellishment.

What do you think?

As for my next class project for July
I can only give you these sneak peek,

It is a travel album
which is perfect to record your holiday
memories from wherever you'd been to
this whole month with the kids and families.

I used Destination series from
Heart this series.

My album could be filled with
almost 90 photos!
Could you believe it?
Sounds REALLY ideal for any
non-stop-taking-pictures-traveller,
don't you think?

The details of the class will be upload
soon enough.
Don't miss the class, and the fun!

See ya!

Warung Talaga - new place at Ciwalk

After their successful and always crowded
place at PVJ mall here,
they got bigger place at Ciwalk mall,
while the original 'Warung Talaga booth'
still remain at the old place.

To retain their original concept as
a 'warung', I helped them with
decoration that looks like real 'warung'.
Construction by my husband's company,

Enjoy the ambience!

The night before the opening on June 24th,
we wait until almost midnight
for the electricity's procedure to be done.
My husband, me, and some of the owners.
Super tired face.

Good luck to you all!
Wishing you many success
and more counters in the future.

Three 'Butterfly Garden' layouts

I felt in love with these papers,
the first time I saw it released at CHA 2011.

Love the colors,
love the images,
and of course love the butterflies.
(who are not?)

So, after used this line of papers at
Irene Tan's workshop to make the treasure box,
I made three 12x12 layouts
using all their 6 types of papers,
mixed them all here and there.

Here is LAYOUT 1 :

The details

Here is LAYOUT 2 :

The details

I can't put my distress crackle rock candy aside.
It's so tempting I used it at every page!
Gosh.
Look the cool crackle effect here

Hidden journaling is always best solution
for a 'busy' layout

And here is LAYOUT 3 :

The details

See? Distress crackle, again!
*chuckle

Intrigued by these small modules of papers
I cut some for mini card at layout 1,
the hidden journaling card for
layout 2, and use what's left for this layout.
I thought it will be perfect
for more pictures inside if I made it flip.

I know the main picture is not too sharp.
It's taken by my son, at the terrace,
and it's after dinner time.
But it's taken on mother's day,
when me and my mom could have some quiet moment
talking and laughing,
interrupted by my son coming with the camera.
So this blurry pic hold precious memory,
and I want to always remember it.
Love you, mom.

You can see that all the layout here
are using :
6 pcs 12x12 pattern papers
1 puffy honey Thickers (American Craft)
1 shimmer flourish (Making Memories)- brown
Distress crackle rock candy (clear)
Stickles - platinum
1 pack of butterfly charms
1 pack of butterfly clear pops
some brads

Not complicated at all.
Hope you like them.

See you soon!

Treasure box - The life of two girls - from Irene Tan's class

Before the next schedule and deadline
piled up on my desk, I decided to finish up
the Irene Tan's project class
that I attended at MWL's opening celebration.

She is so humble in person,
and share many good tips and tricks
in altering the Tim Holtz's box
and make it a unique display.
Thanks a lot, Irene!

She included many embellishment to put inside
the box, but she also said to put
our own things to make the box personal
to each of us.
So after me and my family safely arrive home
after three day's tiring celebration,
I pulled out many charms, sentiments,
words and stash that bring lots of meaning
for me and my daughter,
since I decided to make it a treasure for us both,
the two girls in the house.

I played and played until past midnight!
But I love love love how it turned out.
All the small boxes are filled
with exact things that I love,
even some are my precious collection
from years ago!
*rejoice dance*

Here are all the details,
enjoy!

All those precious things in the world,
will not have a single meaning,
if it doesn't make you happy.
