On the way to Inacraft 2012 - part 6

Only a few days left before
the Inacraft 2012 begin.
My hands and mind are sore from this
'kejar tayang' preparation.

I plan to make these art journals
for quite some times.
Then the binding come as a problem
made the progress of it delays
for a few weeks
while I was busy making other stuff.

Happily to report,
that they are all finally can be done
and ready to be adopted
by you,
all art journal's lovers.

I'm thinking to take one myself
to record my Week in the life
that will begin tomorrow.

Still not decide.
Too tired to think.

Bye for now,
my bed is waiting and waving.

On the way to Inacraft 2012 - part 5

And again,
I am calling all the owl lovers
to be gathered around my Inacraft booth
to adopt these limited cuteness.

They are very very limited in number.
'nuff said, right?

On the way to Inacraft 2012 - part 4

I'm back!
*insert rapid breathing here*
Pheeww.

More on the report for Inacraft preparation!
I'm calling for every washi-oholic
or soon-to-be-washi-addict
I will bring these at the event...
wohooooo!!

Grab them fast while you can!
I suggest day 1 or 2 will be the best
before they're all gone
with the happy owners.

And,
as a washioholic myself,
*chuckle*
I find it hard to go back and forth
to open the boxes where I put my tapes,
to choose which pattern is best
for the project I'm working on the table.
The solution I made,
I made this washi holder!

Oh, how I love it!
I can see all my tapes all the time,
use it effectively,
take them in and out from the poles easily
cause I've counted the convenient spaces
between each poles.
I can put them on the table when I work
and store them again at the shelves
after I'm done.
Easy. Easy. easy.

One washi holder can hold about 100 tapes
in mix sizes.
Here when it's empty.
Grab it at Inacraft or put an online order
after the event had finished, okay.

Still. not. tired. with. vintage. things

And for you who wait
for the new designs this year for twill tapes,
here are some of them.

Did I mention already
better for you to come on day 1 or 2?

See you soon!

On the way to Inacraft 2012 - part 3

More products for you to enjoy
and find at my booth at Inacraft 2012.
Still,
the love for birdcages is going strong
and you can find all of these
lovely handmade birdcages there.

My love for vintage necklaces
seems to find its match when I found
the perfect charms size for my fav embellishment
from Melody Ross here

And finish them like these

I hope you heart them
as much as I do!
And more vintage ephemeris for you

Many more to come.
Boy,
my hands are busy as busy can described.

Bye for now!

April 6, 2012

Week in the Life 2012, almost begin.

Just to add more fanciness to the plate,
this morning I was being reminded that
Week in The Life 2012
- a project that started by Ali Edwards -
will begin again soon.
Just too soon, for me.
*sigh*

But as life will not wait for you,
no matter how bad you want it to wait..
until you have more time,
until your job is settling,
until you're free,
until your kids grow up,
until the home is bigger,
until..
 you don't know when.

So, just when I thought,
I'll pass it this year..
I'm so busy with this Inacraft event..
it's just too overwhelming to do it now..
like I need more project to handle..
I found this photo above.

I forget completely when it was taken.
On one of those nights,
when my hubby out of town for work,
I asked them to sleep with me.
Yes,
I asked them.
And they couldn't be happier.
See their super happy faces?

This memory is important for me.
And I forget when it was taken.
I feel so so sad.

Then I decided to say yes.
I will do the Week in the Life project
once again,
to remind myself,
how the daily stuff are truly
the most important memories to be remembered.

I don't want to remember my works
twenty years from now.
I want to remember moments like this.
and scrap them.

This is what Ali said for this year's project:

These albums are amazing looks at our lives
over the course of one week each year.
They are in-depth.
They document so much of the basic pieces of our existence.
They show me so many things to be thankful for
in my life yesterday and today.
So I’m going to do it again
and you can consider yourself invited.

If you are a follower of this project also,
mark your calendar,
it is April 23-29, 2012.

On the way to Inacraft 2012 - part 2

How about some new owls
for your collections, hey, owl lovers?
My handmade owls for Inacraft are limited
and surely have character...LOL.
So I suggest you come early
(day 1 or 2 will be safe)
before they all fly out from the booth.

I am not kidding.

Gotta run!
See you again soon!

On the way to Inacraft 2012 - part 1

Many things may change each day,
and for sure will change over years.
I forget how many times
I continually submit to Inacraft,
maybe this year is my 7th or 8th.
But my dream never change.
I always dream to give the best,
new and unique products
to Inacraft's visitor each year.

So here I am,
on the journey to Inacraft once again,
sharing what I love to make,
and hopefully,
will be loved by many of you too.

I'll be back soon.
