"Believe" - the album
Who don't love bird cage?
I do. I do. I do.
These were the kits that I prepared
for 'Believe' intermediate class
for scrapbooking on June 26th.
Turn out almost all of them
are in love with bird cage too.
Such destiny.
And
this is the album
You know I always fall in love
with texture
(beside with my husband)
(beside with my husband)
so I created a simple album with
lots of texture to feel...
lots of material to mix....
and lots of yarns to twist.....
Simple inspiration of theme...
WHAT DO I BELIEVE IN?
lead me to the making of this album.
What you believe,
is what making you, YOU.
No one can take them from you.
But for some scrappers that
found this theme too complicated,
they can choose other theme
such as friendship, love or family,
for the title and pictures.
Let's open the album.
I believe in soul mate.
Isn't it obvious?
How many couple who are lucky enough
to find their soul mate
life after life?
Even riches and gold cannot buy it.
Not even all kings have it.
You have to earn it.
By what you did before this life.
By what you do now.
I believe in words
from the beginning of time.
For me,
spoken words are so fleeting
they will forgotten in seconds,
days, months.
But written words remain.
I record all the words I love
in papers, daily journals, books,
notes, scrapbook, art journals.
I plan to fill the empty space
with more words and quotes later.
I believe in books
As much as I believe in
written word by myself,
I believe in written word by
someone else.
Choose your books carefully
as they will be your best friends
for this life journey.
These are not just my best friends.
These are my babies.
I believe in my passion.
I only do what I love to do
because only that is worth it.
Always ask yourself
before you do a job or
spending time on anything,
"Will it be worth it for me
or my loved ones
for the next five years?"
If the answer is no,
you know what to do.
I believe in simple joy.
Do you?
Laughter of my loved ones.
A kiss before they go.
A kiss when we meet again.
Smell of wet soil after the rain.
Watching them sleep.
A homemade toys.
A glass of ice coffee.
Hot shower.
A hug.
A good night sleep.
Simple?
Think again.
They are not simple joy at all
in the end.
I believe in laughter
Because a day without laughter
is a day wasted.
and,
I believe in this family.
I will be a whole different person
if I don't belong in this family.
Nough said.
There.
I believe in lots of things.
I also don't believe in
other lots of things.
For all of you
who coming here for inspiration,
I will be gladly to help
and will always
provide you with such.
But unfortunately,
for some of you who coming here
to steal my work
(oh, yes, I know you will
come to this post and read this too)
and claimed it to be yours
and sell it in your store's classes,
that only justified
what you are making of.
Bad news for you,
I believe in karma.
If you don't,
you will,
when you see it someday soon.
Thank you
for believe in me.
i believe in you of raising my passion in scapbooking...
keep creating...

So inspiring, Ria! If I listed my beliefs, they would look a lot like yours. So blessed to have a soulmate and a family and passion. And a friend like you!

What a beautiful post. Your work is lovely as always, but your words and thoughts are filled with wisdom far beyond your earthly years. De-Lovely.
