Altering the "Sweetness Project" suitcase
This is the suitcase that keeps this album safe.
Due to the lack of time and papers,
the cover of the suitcase is limited to here.
But I already said to all the participants
that they could alter the suitcase
with anything else they had at home later,
as long as the color tones are coordinated
well with the album and the papers.
Mine was not altered until last night.
I meet my good friend Yen Ling at class yesterday
and finally had spare time and asked her
to teach me how to make this cute sliding card
that she gave to me on my birthday.
And I finished my card!
Thank youuu Yen Ling, dear!
I made the card using Sweetness' material still
because I want to include it
into this album.
But after it finished,
I tried to slip it to any of the four pages
with no successful result,
because all the inside pages are fully loaded!
LOL
So here is the best place
I can find to stick it
And of course I altered the suitcase more
and more...
and more...
I colored the lid with
green and turquoise hue to match the card,
using opaque paint and gesso,
and also to made different tones
with the cover album inside that all pink.
and I am OK
with the color difference between the lid
and the base of the suitcase.
It will be too much if I colored
the whole suitcase.
Hopefully my altered suitcase
can bring some idea on how you will
alter yours.
Happy altering!
Very pretty alteration... Love the details you made here.
