Week in The Life 2013 - day one
This morning,
I'd been thrown back
to the time and place
where I felt safe and alive.
Behind my camera.
As I begin this week of recording,
and documenting, and appreciating the life
HERE and NOW,
I have to admit that
I felt overwhelmed a bit.
Many details passed by unseen,
for I don't know how long.
And to be able to slow down
so those details catch up with me again,
humbled me once more.
The details of messy beds in the morning...
The details of morning routines...
The details of more-quiet-routines
after the kids went to school
and hubby to work...
The details of going to work myself..
The details of working at the office...
The details of going for lunch
and stop by MWL to pick up some goodies...
The details of going and arriving home
in the afternoon...
The details of dinner and after...
The details of my studio,
exactly as it is now...
The details of goofing around
before Adam's bedtime....
All those details.
And more so for the next six days.
Turn out those mundane details
that shape our life,
are NOT ordinary at all.
Right?
See you on day two.
Beautiful! Not ordinary at all!!

Definitely not so ordinary. And yet, so very common - this human experience that we're all sharing. Amazing how one life across the world from mine is so different, yet so similar. What a beautiful life you have. Thanks for sharing it.
