Art heals - at Sharon Ngoo's class

Don't think about making art,
just get it done.
Let everyone else decide
if it's good or bad,
whether they love it or hate it.
And,
while they're deciding,
make even more art.

Andy Warhol

Learning something new always excites me.
And learning from such a talented artist,
-who recently become one of G45 Design Team-
is of course, even thrilling.

Spotted her metal case's class last Jan
while I went Singapore,
but all her classes booked up.
*sigh*
So imagine how happy I am
to find out that she makes them again,
adding new twist,
but with the same metal case that I fall
in love with the first time.
Aaaaaahh, sweet.

So, here I am,
back home from Sing last night,
met her in person,
who is such a nice teacher
with tons of patience and smile.
Adore all the details of her work!
Thanks Sharoooon!

The teaser on her blog was this.

I changed the cover slightly last night
when I finished up the project at home.
Here is Sharon's cover:

First, because I didn't fancy the bulldog.
*ahem*
and, second, I still searched for what pics
to put in this precious album.

Then I stumbled upon many of my pics
from classes, project, albums,
and realized, it would be perfect to
put them together here,
since the envelopes will need lots of pics.

Everything suddenly falls down into places.
First, the title.

Art heals.
How true.
Everytime.

Then I picked one of my woman figure
from my paintings,
(luckily, I have some pics printed)
and these two are my first paintings!
October 2008. Wow.
Talking about history! LOL.

Changed her wings
with butterfly image from pop up stickers.

I know, I know,
you can't wait to see what are inside it,
right?

Here it is...

By now,
I think you know exactly why I fall in love
with this project, don't you?

It is brimful with details.
And Sharon had planned the construction
for them really really well.

I had all the leisure to choose more knick
and knack to fill in this small cubicle
at home, till pass midnight,
with a glass of ice coffee.
*bliss*

The above cubicle used for storing pics only.

Move to the other side,

Like I told you before,
The envelopes here will store more pics.
Just ideal for many classes' pics,
and projects, without making it
overwhelming as when it showed in an album.

I am healed once more.
It is precious.
