Working on self-project
is always more liberating,
although the time spent may take forever.
*Sigh*
This 'Rocket Age' project was turn into
two parts of the making period.
The first part is to alter the round can,
which process you can see
And the second part is now.
To make the round album to put inside.
It's all about Adam's, my son, exploration
to outer space, alien, space ship, etc,
that he most loves.
It will be so interesting!
Let's take the album out..
Basically, I'm not very fond of the round shape
for an album. But since the can was round,
and most of the paper were contain round objects
(planets, sun, meteors) and also the orbit,
so, woalaa... round album it is.
Pages inside :
On page two, I made a swirl
(also from round base paper)
to spread across two pages.
I love how it turn out looks like an orbit,
and the plane is flying out through it.
Want to make it more dramatic,
but the difficulty when the album closed
stopped me at this point.
Only two pages spread like these
already make the album bulky enough,
so I go easy with the pop up things
on the back of it.
Back pages :
To open the mini album:
The rubber charm (to the moon)
was used for holding the folded papers.
And this red clip also help
This is how when the folded papers open.
All empty spaces paper will be loaded with
Adam's photos soon.
(Don't force me to define "soon", eh)
And while waiting,
don't forget the last page's message here
I write especially for my son :
Don't get teary now.
I finished the album joyfully
remembering all the good time recorded.
The album is happily go back inside the can too.
Thank you so so much for coming
and hope you enjoy this project of mine.
And the surprise?
As a part of spreading the joy,
by the end of this month,
I'll pick one person randomly
from all who leave comment below this post
to receive a very special gift from me.
