Made With Love Indonesia is here.

Before I even begin,
bring along your coffee, dear
This is going to be a looong post to enjoy.

My love affair with Made With Love
the store-the owner-the scrapbooking stash
began long long time ago,
(about 6 or 7 years back)
when I stumbled across upon their tiny store
just before I went the toilet
at Plaza Singapura.

And that sweet serendipity continued,
made me always want to go to Sing
and refresh my scrapbook supplies..
attend their classes...
I attended my first beginner class there too!
*sweet memories*
Then they moved to much bigger place,
also at the same building,
I met the lovely owners,
Sandra, Elvira and Swee Ching
and somehow began to talk about buying
stuff for selling in Indo,
since there were zero supplies here.
Even after I opened Scrapking,
I still went there to shop for my private
scrapbook project, cause MWL always
successfully brought latest trend and products.
*oh, yeah*
They always supported me,
especially at the times when the business
got though. And after I decided to go solo again.
*Thanks, Sandra!*

The busy world here at my corner
and much more at theirs,
made the time go so long without contact,
until one phone call at a tiring afternoon,
me just finished the opening of
Eat&Eat food court at Surabaya
with heavy sleep deprived
(still at Surabaya),
and just wanted to go back to hotel
to watch the Royal Wedding of
Prince William and Kate that day.
A phone call from Elvira.

Must be something happened.
A phone call is always bad news/good news.
*Gee
Thanks dear God,
it was good news.
Good news, indeed.
Elvira asked, if I may considering
join the MWL Design Team,
if I possibly to add it to my busy life.
I couldn't believe my ear.
I stood at the mall alley, jaw dropped,
and tried to find a place to sit down.
Of course I say YES!
*teary*
The only person that can feel
as radiant as me that time may be only
Kate that got her royal wedding kiss
at the same time I got the news!

From there,
the time went blur.
And also killing me inside cause Elvira
said that I have to keep it quiet
until the announcement come from them.
Sincere apologies to all my scrapper friends,
I wasn't telling you the news
not because you're not important to me,
but because I couldn't.

Much bigger news came about two weeks
after the phone call,
Made With Love will open at Jakarta!
*fainted*
*really fainted*

Thanks to Helen, that make this is possible
to happen and bring the store here.
*hugsss
The time is just right for everybody,
and I couldn't be happier.
The grand opening was set on June 3-5, 2011
Three days celebration!
Three w h o l e days!
Oh, my.

Are you ready for the opening celebration?
The place is at:
Grand Indonesia Mall, Jakarta
2nd floor, no.18
They send out this cool invitation
few days before.

That special passport, my friend,
is the only thing you need to bring
to experience all the excitement for
joining 'make and take' booths
from France, Holland, India and USA.

Not only that for an excited story....
for three whole days the place was filled
with wonderful workshops from talented designers,
I joined Irene Tan's -box of love- class.
Report for the project on another post, okay?

And the time for the ceremony was come
at the second day.
First, the press conference

Second, the buzz around the paper couture show
with the handsome DJ UTT. *wink

The third....of course, the food!

And last but not least,
Design Team announcement......

The lovely and proud owners
of made With Love.
Congratz to you all!

Look at the crowd at the cashier!
*glegkh

This is the look of the class room from outside,
the place which soon be my corner of heaven
to teach and meet lots and lots scrappers.

Again,
I am deeply honored that
I become a part of their new beginning here
in Indonesia,
and wish you all Indonesian scrappers
become more passionate with scrapbooking
since the complete and latest goodies
are always around the corner.
*giggle

Thanks to Evelyn and Elvira
who let me use some of their marvelous pics
