Independence Day
This boy asked me in the afternoon,"Mom, do you wanna make our home pretty?"
"Hff. Pretty? How pretty?"
"You just have to buy me red and white paper, mom..and I'll show you....I already learn it from school today!"
I begin to understand what he's talking about. He want to make a chain flag, like the ones we all used to make in Indonesia to celebrate our Independence Day, 17th August.
"Okay, Adam, let's buy it now. You can make it by yourself?"
"It's easyyyy, mom....."
Oh, well.
And later that night, Nadea join him too.
We go hang it proudly in the night in front of our home, and in the morning....ta daaaaa......
My home indeed looks pretty, don't you think?
