A birthday girl is in the house
9 years.
Oh, how can I rewind the time to that night at the hospital, when a young woman holding a tiny baby girl in her arm closely to her chest, suddenly missing the heartbeat that once inside her womb, after a long 12 hours laboring process, now looking the face that is as new as morning dew to the leaf at dawn.
My daughter turns 9 today.
Still trying to figuring out how can I survive all the level of motherhood until I had a 3rd grader in my home right now. Still.
And could not be thankful enough for what Dear God had made of her. Day to day until today.
She is now at the middle of everything....
between a girl and a teen,
between a Barbie Mariposa and a Hannah Montana,
between a flip flop and a (slightly) high heel,
between a drama queen and a rock star,
and still figuring out what she really wants to be in the next five years. (Don't rush on that, shall we?)
For now I hold her hands and hug her all day when we spent the fun day together doing all she wants, but my mind still go back to that night, exactly 9 years ago.
And, I thank God.

i know exactly how it feels .... really hope that we can just frozen the time and enjoy their (kids!) cuteness forever .... hmmmmm .. eniwei , hepi b'day buat nadea (great name!) ... tell her to enjoy her moments as kid as long as she could ... mmmuuahh ..
