What I found last night

"Adam, what are you doing there?"
"Eating, mom"
"Adam, you can't use real coco crunch to feed the doggie!"
"Uhm?"

"No, mom...it's for me. See? I'm eating it!"

"Uh huh. I see." Of course I never win this kind of battle with the kids.

Just enjoy it while it last, shall we?

Documenting a week in a life - begin

Just a quick update.

Phew. Busy. Busy. Busy.:)

Documenting life turn out to be involved 100% in the present. In the now. Which is good. And leaving not much time to chit chat or blogging.:)

Little time left every night been used to prepare for the album.

And my husband got the tickets for us to Bali for the kids holiday, this Friday!

That means the holiday will be include in the documenting. Yay!

Hope you too will prepare something very interesting this weekend.....

Getting ready

Today I happen to open again The Guerilla Art Kit - by Keri Smith and find this :

I think it's cool for any title. Handmade title. So when the kids are playing play dough just now, (Again. For the third time this week) I sneak off to my table and make these for the daily titles of 'Documenting a week in life' project next week.

I am planning to do more handmade things and drawings for this year album.Hmm.

Ups.

My children are calling.

Have I told you that they already got their report cards and officially started their holiday yesterday?
And that they will be able to sleep late EVERY night, not just at weekends?

Yup.It will be twice harder for me to sneak out and do my art. Oh,man.

OK. OK.

They are calling again.

'A week in the life' project - remembered.

I am always excited whenever I plan for a fascinating project.

And this is one of that kind of project.

'Documenting a week in the life'

I did it last year for the first time following Ali Edwards's invitation to join in this project of hers. And, gee, I can't tell you enough how grateful I am that I took some extra time to do it.

For this year, she hasn't start it yet (although she is sure that it'll be once in a year project), but then when my scrapgathering's buddies discussed what to do for next month's project, this idea came up.

And I can't be more excited.

We all nine ladies will be side by side doing it next week, from 8th-14th June 2009...encouraging each others and sharing the ideas every day. Until we put it on an album.

I welcome you all to join along.

May Scrapgathering - Canvas Swatches

For this month scrapgathering....we have the privilege from our dear friend Alice Wahyuni who attended Donna Downey's class at Singapore last month....to share the method with us! Yay! This is the finished piece of mine. Did it on 30x30cm canvas.
