One simple holiday's album

School's holiday are here!
Some have it for couple weeks,
and some (like my kids),
have it more than two months
till the end of the Eid's holiday!!
Ayayai.

While holiday almost equal with travel time
for us with kids,
travel albums become essential
in recording families' memories.

Not thinking myself as an
travel albums' expert or stuff,
but sharing tips with you all
who may be overwhelmed when starting
with how to put the journey into album,
won't hurt anyone, I hope.

As a sample for travel album's tips,
series of papers, and the
Here & Now Chapter as the base.
The package are wonderful,
suit the holiday theme,
and you can add more pages if need to.
No need to make it
more complicated than it is.

Last June when we had long weekend's
holiday, me and hubby took the kids
and our family's buddies to Sing.
Visited Universal Studio there
seems like a little bit postponed
after we visited the big one in Osaka.
But the fun was no less.

For the cover,
all I did was making the title
and embellish it.

For me,
uneven edges always give interesting
and intriguing taste for an album.
But even for the simplest one,
you have to think carefully
how the whole album will be look like
from in front, after it's done.
I always go back and forth opening and
closing the album every time one page added
so I know exactly how it'll
be appeared from the front.

Now, for the inside pages...

Find a good page to show off the tickets
you brought home from the journey.

A good scrapper will not forget
to grab any brochures she found and other
'sampah-sampah ga keruan lainnya'
to put inside the album.

Find an interesting way to show them.
Like making a paper belt and slip it in..

Or, the easiest way is making a pocket
and tuck them in.

Not only brochures and tickets,
theme parks always always sell post cards
or cards. Don't forget to buy them.
And make them part of your album.

It is ideal if you have the papers
before you start the journey,
so you can take a peek inside the papers
and knew exactly what kind of photos needed
that go well with the album.

I looked at the series and took notice
of the 'popcorn' pages inside,
so when I was at the theme park,
I targeted to find the popcorn's car.

The result was satisfying.

Easy peasy, right?
No fuss, no mess.
Finished the album in two night's scrap times.

If you need more challenges,
of course you can add a container for
your finished album.

I'm thinking about this tin travel luggage
will do the charm.

If you travel to many places for days
and need inspiration on how to make
more mini albums so all your photos
are not going wasted,
you probably want to check here.

Wishing you all a pleasant and fun
school's holiday seasons!!
Travel it.
Scrap it.
Love it.
