gives me what I need,

not what I want.

So, I believe He has other plans

on the table for me.

Weekend's layout

To feel loved on any ordinary day?

That's not ordinary, baby.

That's EXTRAORDINARY.

The layout was pulling out so quickly.

I found this old pic very suitable

with the tone of the paper.

Here are some details..

And you know what more was extraordinary?

I used most of these die cuts

from My Mind Eye's series alone.

No need to make things complicated

more than it had to be.

For the centre piece of the page,

I picked this 'LOVE' embellishment

that I found at Typo, Singapore.

Boy, I spend hours in that store,

looking every knick knack available

to dragged home in my suitcase.

All I did was buffed the word LOVE

using Inka Gold Metallic Rub.

It was effortless

and sticked like magic.

You should try it!

Weekend means extra.

Extra times.

Extra food.

Extra fun.

Okay,

Extra page!

*LOL*

This page was come out

just after I did this.

I need something quick

to release all the tension and left energy.

So I didn't think much,

didn't get picky with the papers

nor the embellishments,

just pick..pick..go..go..

Always delighted if there is

a chance to incorporate my handwriting

into the pages or albums.

However ugly.

Graphic 45 - DT audition 2013 final round - Circus Album's Display

You can achieve more under deadlines.

That I believe.

Double that on fierce deadlines.

Oh, yeah.

The deadline for final video submission

was on April 18th.

Means, I can show the video now here.

Tried to execute an original idea in 2 weeks,

plus making a video tutorial out of it,

plus considering this is the first official

video I'm about to make for youtube...

(the first one for the Christmas kits

is for private buyers, not so nerve wracking)

plus making preps,

plus trial and error,

plus taking pictures,

plus editing...

and more editing...

only could happen for this final round

Design Team audition for Graphic 45.

*grin*

I made a display for the Circus Album

that had been made quite sometimes ago,

so this tutorial is about how I design

and make the CIRCUS ALBUM'S DISPLAY

not the album itself.

Later that I knew, uploading a video

to youtube take quite some times..

and turn out...

I should not use songs for background

using the original artist's songs!

*yaiks*

*amateur me*

It almost couldn't be uploaded,

I was ready to edit it again the next day

and change the songs...

Thanks God I didn't upload it on last minute

of the deadline given.

but wait...fortunately, it could!!

only forbidden in Germany (sorry..)

and cannot changing the setting to be

played on mobile (iPad/iPhone),

so you only can watch the video

on your pc.

Soooo sorrrryy.....

I think I lost quite a few pounds

on sweat and lots of coffee

these two weeks time

preparing the project and video

...which means, good news!

Should do this more often!

*LOL*

this video was a whole family's effort.

And I couldn't ask

for a better one.

Europe into albums - part one

To squeeze extra times to make these

Europe trip's mini albums at night,

wasn't easy.

Easier said than done, as always.

But I managed to make six minis so far

-which contains the photos until day three-

(Still ten days to go, mind you)

*sigh*

But, hey, not bad, eh?

I especially value these post cards

which turn out to be very versatile

in time to pull out the album's cover.

I feel grateful to ran for those post cards

and souvenirs even though the times

at each places we visited were strictly limited.

*grin*

Still more minis to make.

*coffee...please....*

And..

for the house of those minis,

I ordered this travel kit from Suryanti,

who created this beautiful box and the inside

(which I have to modify, sorryyyy...)

and embellished the box cover like this..

And..

for a few of my fav pictures,

besides put them inside the minis,

I made 12x12 layout.

This one begins with a single page's plan

in my head.

While I'm very pleased with the happy colors,

the tone and the lightness feeling result,

I looked at the pictures of each of us

posing dedicatedly with the tower

-yes, except my hubby *sigh*-

and decided to included those too.

So, double pages it is then.

REMEMBER THIS, REMEMBER TODAY.

A couple of details..

Have to stop for awhile with these

since my hands get a little bit full

with making tutorial video project this week.

I found my name!

Oh my.

Yesterday felt surreal to me.

Well, today still actually.

After a half day waiting

(because of time zone differences)

I re-opened Graphic 45 website again

(for the 'umph' times)at about 6pm

aaaandd......

I found my name!!!

I found my name

no.24.

Oh, thank You, Lord.

Thank you, Graphic 45, for the trust.

The rest of the night

was filled will laughter,'happy' crying,

my phone couldn't stop ringing

and sharing the best news ever

with my beloved family and friends

made my legs literally shaking.

Today, I'm squeezing in some times

in between my work

to look into every other finalist's blog

.....

and almost fainted.

They all are so goooooodddd.....

I think they ALL are deserved to be

in this team.

But there is this second round..

(now I know why they said that

the Graphic 45 DT's audition is fierce...)

and the time is short.

So, I get to do what I have to do,

and may the best win those spots

that have been a dream for all scrappers.
