Week in the Life - the album
One last thing left
from the last week gathering,
is about
'Week in the Life' album.
I was very proud to see
so many unique finished albums
at the gathering,
also so sad that
I was not having enough time
to enjoy every one of them.
And for you who are still
struggling with the finishing,
come on....
be done with it
and you'll be ready to leap
to other project.
Here I share mine,
hoping you'll enjoy it more here
with a sip of coffee or tea
of your choice,
sitting at your comfy chair.
You must remember how excited
I was when the week was over
also when the photos were here...
I made one simple layout
using big photo(size 8R)of each day
as an opening of the day,
like these :
For the first time
I used plastic sleeves with divider
mixed between the big sleeves.
Beside practical,
(I don't have to glue down every
photos...which are, a lot!)
I want to use the pockets
to slip in many things,
such as....
my kids' Kumon sheets,
grocery shopping receipt,
week at a glance from school,
love letter from the kids,
may be some important mail,
and of course,
important conversation.
I can easily clip on
any tags (yes, cute ones only)
from something I bought
through the week.
And with the real vigilance
as a true and trusted
'trash colector' a.k.a
scraps hunter - literally,
every brochures, tags,
booklets, name cards, even
my kids handwriting for
their restaurant' menu for play,
be save in my hands,
in one tug.
You must not forget
that you are reading
a blog of a woman
who is a hoarder for words.
I love how I can put
one big photo into two pockets.
They look like these :
And of course,
still many details and textures,
magically entwine with
more journals and words.....
I can go on and on and on....
but I think I must stop.
Of course, you can come
to see the whole album, and bring
that cup of coffee or tea
to my place,
while I sip my ice coffee here.
And we will talking
about the good life we had,
because
it's a good life indeed.
